Sarah MacPhail, MSW
Sarah is a Masters Social Worker, practicing clinically specializing in the field of trauma, psychosocial, and couples therapy with military members. As a former serving Canadian Armed Forces member she is closely aligned with trauma and first responders. Throughout her practice, she utilizes a variety of methods, unique to each client such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for suicide prevention in her daily work. She is also trained in and regularly applies Gottman Couples Counseling, yielding outstanding results for her clients.
She believes in a holistic practice with an eclectic perspective so she treats the whole person and looks for root cause issues rather than short term repair. She remains passionate about assisting all persons in building lifelong resilience. Being a supporting professional to REgen has allowed her to continue specializing in building a more robust and resilient emergency services industry. By delivering these services we will save lives, relationships and improve quality of life for all those impacted.
Sarah assists in the research and development of our programs including our Flagship Program, Frontline Resilience and has placed her stamp of approval on the content and delivery.
