Matt has worked as a first responder since joining the local Volunteer Fire Department in 2007. Continuing his career in frontline service, Matt became a Paramedic in 2011. He is currently practicing as an Advanced Care Paramedic in several versatile roles including Ground Ambulance, Emergency Department Paramedic as well as Paramedic and Medical First Responder Educator.

While not on duty, Matt enjoys playing hockey, golfing and fishing; As well as spending time with his Wife, Ashley and Son, Levi.

Matt joined the FIRSTask Force to advocate proactive mental health in first responders and promote healthy frontline community service.
